Tarta Elefante Bebe: Tutorial como hacer un elefante en pasta de azúcar
Tenía muchas ganas de hacer un nuevo modelado, y como ando con poca práctica últimamente, siento hasta miedo de no saber hacerlo ya! y no puede ser!
Así que vosotros vais a avanzar poco a poco como yo, y así voy prácticando que buena falta me hace que con tanto trabajo de la tienda, está una desentrená.
Sabe Dios que intento avanzar mucho en mis modelados, y que quisiera hacerlos tan espectaculares como veo algunos por internet, con esas facciones tan marcadas y esas caras tan perfectas, pero …mira que las he hecho y no me han quedado del todo mal, ..pero no es mi estilo, no me gustan…que le voy a hacer? por eso que siempre me salen las mismas tartas, el mismo estilo..aunque espero que os guste!

En este post vamos a dar un repaso al los modelados sencillos, y vamos a hablar no solo de la técnica para hacerlo, sino cuales son las pastas más adecuadas y como tenemos que hacer para evitar grietecitas y sequedades…
Como hacer un elefante con pasta de azúcar
Utensilios:
Pincel pequeñito nº 1, 0, 00 o maximo 2
Colorantes:
Colorante Caramelo-Ivory Sugarflair
Colorante Amarillo Golden Yellow Wilton
Palitos de brocheta
Glasa real
*Una anotación sobre la pasta de goma: para este tipo de modelado no hace falta usar pasta de goma si no la tienes, perfectamente puedes usar fondant más cmc en una proporción de 250 gr de fondant por una cucharadita de cmc. Pero no olvides hidratar bien con crisco, este es nuestro aliado para que quede perfecto la terminación
Empezamos por el cuerpo :
Teñimos una bola grande de unos 200 gr de pasta de goma con el colorante negro en poquita cantidad para darle ese tono gris.
Para el cuerpo utilizamos una bola de unos 70 gr. Amasamos muy bien apretando(amasando con fuerza, quiero referirme) muy bien la bola hasta que no tenga ninguna grietecita (1), esto siempre se consigue con un buen amasado y un poco de manteca vegetal en las manos para ir hidratando. Le damos forma de pera(2) y alargamos el cuello de la pera, doblando un poco, quedaría como la foto (3) de lado .
Marcamos con el dedo indice y el dedo pulgar la zona donde van a ir las patitas delanteras(4) y traseras(5). Marcamos además con la estéca marcadora una costura por el lomo y por la barriga(6).
Tenemos que dejar secar para poder montar la cabeza, así que le clavamos una brocheta que aguante el cuello en su sitio, sobre un dummie, o trozo de corcho. No claves literalmente la brocheta, es como enroscar para evitar apretar demasiado al meter la brocheta y evitamos así deformar nuestro cuerpo.
Seguimos con la cabeza:
Utilizamos una bola de pasta de goma de un poco de menor tamaño que hemos usado para el cuerpo, de la misma manera amasamos muy bien hasta formar una bola antes de darle forma, y una vez bien formada y perfectamente hecha la bola(7), formamos una pera alargada con un cuello aún más largo que antes(8) (será nuestra trompa) y la doblamos con una curvatura aún más pronunciada como la foto 9.
Usamos un formador de flores redondo para posar la cabeza, poniendo la trompa hacía arriba y con una esteca de bolillo pequeño, marcamos la boquita abriendo el agujero un poquito y marcando la parte de los ojos.
Con la estéca de ángulo, marcamos las arruguitas de la trompa para darle más profundidad y realidad y las pestañitas y lo dejamos secar tal como la foto de un día para otro sobre el formador de media copa.
Una vez bien seco lo podemos montar.Tened en cuenta que la parte que está justamente pegada al formador se mantendrá más humeda y podremos perforarla para clavarle el palillo. Una vez que esté seca la parte superior de la cabeza dejar secar un poco esta base ya perforada, para que así seque bien bien la cabeza y pese menos y no se agriete ni se rompa.
Para formar las patitas:
cogemos 4 bolitas del tamaño de una canica y le damos forma de perita. Aplanamos la base.
Colocamos en su sitio, aplicando un poco de pegamento comestible con un pincel. Una vez en su sitio marcamos con un palillo o una estéca, la rodillita y las grietas.
Las patitas de atrás se pondrán acostaditas, quedando un resultado como este…
Para hacer las orejas:
Estiraremos un trozo de pasta de goma gris con el grosor de 3.2 mm, el mayor grosor y cortamos 2 corazones.
Para afilar el corte del borde y hacemos como si estuviéramos haciendo una flor y tuviéramos que afinar los bordes, pero en este caso con la yema de nuestros dedos. Afinaremos con los dedos todo el corazón, dandole suavidad y una forma más real de oreja de elefante, sin ángulos tan marcados.
la diferencia entre cuando se corta y después del afinado es esta…
Solo queda pegarle las orejas con un poco de pegamento comestible aplicado con un pincel.
Para hacer más bonita la tarta la he decorado con una cinta de masking tape de tela con mensaje, un tapete estampado de sweet does it y unas flores hechas de glasa que es una de las flores que se aprenden en el curso wilton 2. Además he sombreado un poco con colorante en polvo color baby blue y un pincel chato en seco, un poco el elefante para darle profundidad.
Espero no haber sido tan pesada con tanta foto, solo me encanta poderos enseñar lo maximo posible para hacerlo mucho más fácil
